SEE Camp’s science program offers age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, including:

  • Non-Newtonian Physics
  • Investigating DNA

  • Studying changing environmental conditions

Project Discovery

Project Discovery provides an opportunity for students to promote creativity, critical thinking, and unity.

Campers will be inspired to utilize innovative approaches to fundamental skills. The Project Discovery program encourages teams of learners to take risks, focus, frame challenges and have fun while incorporating STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) and service learning.

Session 1:

June 24 – July 05 2019

No Session July 4th.
Deadline: Registration and final payment must be received no later than June 11.

Organized activities and classes: 9AM to 4PM

  • 2 hours of science and Project Discovery activities
  • 2 hours of sports, games, and swim
  • 2 hours of theater and arts

Before and after care is available: 7:30-9:00AM and 4:00-5:45PM.

Liberty Science Center

SEE Camp takes pride in providing truly exciting, memorable, and educational field trips. We offer one field trip during each 2-week camping session, with no additional charge for admission or transportation. Chartered buses are fully air-conditioned.

Liberty Science Center is a must-see destination! Located in the beautiful Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ, LSC is a cutting-edge, 300,000-square-foot learning center visited by more than 750,000 guests each year and home to the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere. A few of our most popular exhibitions include: The Touch Tunnel – an 80-foot, crawl-through, pitch-black tunnel that helps you realize how much we rely on sight to move through the world, the Infinity Climber – a suspended climbing play space located 35 feet in the air, and Eat and Be Eaten – home to 100+ fascinating animal species including naked mole rats, the critically endangered cotton-top tamarin monkeys, and leaf-cutter ants.

Space Farms Zoo and Museum

SEE Camp takes pride in providing truly exciting, memorable, and educational field trips. We offer one field trip during each 2-week camping session, with no additional charge for admission or transportation. Chartered buses are fully air-conditioned.

Featuring more than 500 animals of 100 different species, Space Farms has the largest private collection of North American animals in their natural surroundings in the United States. The zoo also has many exotic species from around the world. Space Farms in internationally famous for its bear and lion bub breeding programs. A trip to the country zoo thrills children of all ages as they stroll the grassy grounds and are able to feed animals in special animal access areas. The Space Farm’s Museum contains more than 50,000 artifacts, including 50 antique cars, motorcycles, farm implements, early American tools, dolls, clocks, tractors, horse-drawn sleighs, and Native American artifacts.
